Stayed here Halloween weekend for the When We Were Young Festival. Paid for a king bed with a High Roller view. Arrived after 10 PM on a Thursday night and still had to wait in line for almost an hour to use a self check in kiosk. Initial impression was the room was very nice but the TV did not work. We have been advised to check in w the entrance desk within the AM, which we did. They asked if it was ok to enter the room whilst we have been gone for the day, sightseeing.
We are planning a big group journey (12-14) in March. I am coordinating it and was recommending to the others we keep at the Flamingo because of its location and my good experiences there in the past. Instead, we’ll stay elsewhere (Harrah’s, New York, etc) related in price but a lot cleaner and not in such a state of dis-repair. Next time we will keep at a sister-property like Harrah’s or the Linq. Something related in value however trying significantly better. Until some adjustments happen, I won’t advocate this place to anybody. I did discover that some of the buttons int he hallways for the elevators did not work.

This just isn’t the Flamingo I have stayed at and enjoyed up to now. Thinking we wouldn’t be in the room much, we determined to just make-do. When we woke Monday I wanted to jump int he shower. Water barely warmed up, so I took a fast one. I don’t normally name and complain because I don’t want them pondering I am on the lookout for any freebies.
However, I did name concerning the lack of sizzling water and somehow they made some adjustment and obtained the water hotter inside a few hours.
